From the Desk of the Polemarch

I am Reggie Williams, Polemarch of the Cary (NC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated. On behalf of all the Chapter Members, it is a distinct honor and pleasure, to welcome you to our website.
Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity message of ACHIEVEMENT in every field of Human endeavor is epitomized by the members of this chapter. Thirty years ago, ten men chartered this chapter to bring together and welcome similar men of culture, patriotism and honor who were committed to serving their community, mentoring and training other men for LEADERSHIP. Since this time Cary (NC) Alumni Chapter have set the bar for ACHIEVEMENT, through our Foundation and Community Service programs. The men of this chapter have made it a mission to provide support and service for HONORABLE causes throughout the Triangle.
As our chapter continue to expand its footprint in the community our focus will continue to be, bringing the highest level of ACHIEVEMENT, leadership, integrity and community service.

Our goal during my time as Chapter Polemarch will be:

Increasing the number of community service projects in our community
Increasing the number of scholarships that we support through our Foundation
Expanding our mentoring program for young men throughout the community.

These goals are directly aligned with our International Headquarters (IHQ) vision and mission.

Our vision is to be the preeminent leadership development organization for young men within our community, especially in support of our fraternity’s motto of Achievement in every field of human endeavor.

Our mission is to help young men in our community become value-based leaders where they excel in high school, college and in their chosen fields of human endeavor.

Core Values:
How members of an organization interact with their communities and with each other is a direct reflection of the organization’s health and overall impact. With this as a backdrop, our core values are as follows:
• mutually shared respect, support and trust (civil acknowledgment) of all members in the bond,
• a lifelong honor of, and commitment to the ideals of servant leadership and community service,
• continuous pursuit of personal, intellectual and economic growth, and
• embracing diverse inclusion at every opportunity.

Our Founders summed up these and similar core values under the auspice of Phi Nu Pi, where brotherly love and fellowship still prominently takes precedence. In conclusion, Cary (NC) Alumni Chapter will continue its award-winning ways with each member doing his part in support of our vision, mission and core values. As members of our community, it’s important for all of us to give back in some way, regardless of whether we belong to a fraternity or not. I welcome all members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (i.e., active or inactive, financial or non-financial) within the Triangle (RTP) area of NC to join us in support of our noble cause. Just like the great men in American history, and in the history of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., it is especially important for men of ACHIEVEMENT to be role models in their communities and to recognize the importance of giving back – Time, Talent, Treasure, and Testimony. By doing so, we will continue the legacy of our esteemed Founders - that by demonstrating that like Christ, we live to serve and not be served.

I encourage you to explore our website and (other social media platforms) to find out more about who we are and what we do. We thank you in advance for your support. Here’s to another amazing year of ACHIEVEMENT through service, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
