Kappa Foundation of Cary
Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation, Incorporated exists as the philanthropic arm of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated. The Kappa Foundation of Cary was established in 2009 as a non-profit, tax exempt, publicly supported organization. The Foundation currently supports scholarships, after-school programs and community based programs sponsored by the YMCA of the Triangle and the White Oak Foundation Food Bank.

To become the premier Greek letter Foundation in its resources and services to the community.

The Mission
The purpose of the Kappa Foundation of Cary is to foster the intellectual, ethical, social, and moral development of young people in North Carolina, with special emphasis on disadvantaged African-American young men in Wake County. In addition to nurturing and supporting the intellectual development of young people, the Corporation strives to deepen young people’s commitment to their communities and to promote pro-social values such as personal responsibility, respect for self, respect for others, and achievement in every field of endeavor.

Scholarship and Grants Info

The Kappa Foundation of Cary is a tax-exempt 501(C) (3) organization. The Foundation administers a number of scholarship funds that provide financial assistance to deserving male / female youth(s), to assist them with their pursuit of higher education. The applicants must live in the Cary / Western Wake County area.

The Kappa Community Service Foundation of Cary Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-partisan organization committed to improving the quality of lives of African-American male youth, seniors and families in need residing in the Wake County area by providing financial support for social programs, scholastic achievement and health awareness to all.  

All members of the Foundation and the Cary Alumni Chapter, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. are volunteers.
